The other 100 scholarships have more specific criteria; you will find more information on the scholarship information sheets available on the Foundation’s website. Please note that the scholarships are grouped by sector. You only have to apply for a scholarship to access all the scholarships for which you are eligible.

The Jean Robert Gauthier Fund is organizing a national-level annual essay contest that has been created for all students attending a Canadian post-secondary institution. This contest aims to recognize the excellence of youth by encouraging them to reflect on current issues affecting the Canadian Francophonie.

Participants in the 2013-2014 competition must write a 1000-word essay in French on the following theme: French-language services in a difficult economic context: a right or a privilege?

There are three scholarships to be won: First Place $ 3,000; Second place $ 2,000 and Third place $ 1,000

To make your bid: Fill out your registration form . Then insert your essay, your photocopy of your student card, your college registration certificate as an attachment to the email .

STUDENT ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM

Get involved in your student association and take the chance to win scholarships. Become a class representative, volunteer or join a student club. It’s simple!

Deadline to submit your application: Friday, March 7, 2014, 4 pm (the date may change without notice).


THE STUDENT ASSOCIATION GIVES AN ANNUAL AMOUNT TO THE LA CITÉ FOUNDATION TO CREATE A STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FUND. DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF SCHOLARSHIP, THE ONTARIO GOVERNMENT DOUBLES THE AMOUNT INVESTED.

In addition, students participating in intercollegiate sports programs may be awarded one of the many sports scholarships.

Other scholarships are also available to students in all programs through financial assistance to Pavilion A and La Cité Foundation.

The Financial Aid Service regularly informs you of scholarships available to students during the school year.
